Getting Started

Dealgrip is an AI receptionist that answers your business calls 24/7. You forward your existing phone number to Dealgrip. When someone calls, our AI answers instantly and handles the full conversation — questions, appointments, lead capture — then texts you a summary.

The AI is trained on your specific business details — your services, pricing, hours, and FAQs. When a caller asks "Do you do emergency plumbing?" the AI knows your answer because you told it. It doesn't guess. Every conversation is recorded, transcribed, and summarized so you always know what was discussed and what action was taken.

Create an account, enter your business details (services, hours, pricing), and forward your existing phone number to the Dealgrip number in your dashboard. No hardware, no apps, no IT required.

Step 1: Sign up and enter your business name, services, and operating hours. Step 2: In your dashboard, find your unique Dealgrip phone number. Step 3: Log into your carrier account (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) and enable call forwarding to your Dealgrip number. Step 4: Call your own number to confirm the AI picks up. That's it — you're live.

Most businesses are fully live in under 5 minutes. Account creation is instant, filling out your business profile takes 2–3 minutes, and enabling call forwarding from your carrier takes under a minute.

The only variable that can add time is your carrier's call forwarding setup. Most carriers let you enable it from their website or app in under 60 seconds. Some require a call to customer service — typically still under 10 minutes. We provide step-by-step forwarding instructions for AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and 15+ other carriers directly in your dashboard.

Calls & Leads

Dealgrip answers every call in under 1 second using natural-sounding voice AI trained on your business details. It understands your services, pricing, and policies, then has a real conversation — no scripts, no phone trees, no hold music.

Will callers know they're talking to AI? No — Dealgrip uses conversational voice AI that sounds like a knowledgeable employee. It doesn't have a robotic voice, doesn't say "please hold while I process your request," and doesn't read from a list of options. It listens to what the caller says and responds naturally. Most callers can't tell the difference.

Yes. On Professional and Enterprise plans, Dealgrip collects appointment details during the call and adds them to your calendar. You receive an immediate text confirmation with all details.

The AI asks the caller for their preferred date and time, confirms availability against your schedule, and books the appointment — all in one call. You see every appointment in your Dealgrip dashboard and can export to Google Calendar, iCal, or your existing scheduling software. You can also review and approve appointments before they're confirmed if you prefer more control.

If a caller asks to speak with someone or has an issue outside the AI's scope, Dealgrip politely takes their information and lets them know you'll call back shortly. You're immediately notified by text with the caller's name, number, and reason.

You can configure how urgent escalations are handled in your dashboard — for example, you can set specific phrases that trigger an immediate text to your personal cell (like "emergency" or "flooding" for a plumber). The AI never leaves a caller hanging. Even if it can't fully resolve the situation, it takes their contact info and sets the expectation for a callback — which is better than voicemail.

Billing & Plans

Starter ($79/mo): 100 calls/month, business hours coverage, lead capture, SMS alerts. Professional ($149/mo): 500 calls, 24/7 coverage, appointment booking, 3 numbers, priority support. Enterprise ($299/mo): unlimited calls, unlimited numbers, custom integrations, dedicated account manager.

All plans include: full call transcripts, AI-generated summaries, lead capture forms, text alerts after every call, and access to your call dashboard. No setup fees, no per-minute charges, no contracts. If you go over your call limit in a month, you'll be notified — overage calls are handled at a flat rate rather than cut off. See full pricing details for the exact overage rate.

Yes. Change your plan anytime from the billing section of your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you're prorated for the remaining days so you only pay the difference. Downgrade requests are queued and processed at your billing anniversary date — you keep all the features of your current plan until then. You can cancel anytime; your service continues until the end of the paid period.

Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your dashboard settings and your service continues until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked.

Technical

You get a dedicated local or toll-free number in your dashboard as soon as you sign up. This is the number you forward your existing business line to — callers always dial your original number and never see the Dealgrip number.

You can select a number with a local area code to match your city, which gives your business a local presence. On the Professional plan you get 3 numbers — useful if you run multiple locations or want separate numbers for different services (e.g., a residential line and a commercial line). Enterprise gets unlimited numbers.

Yes — and you should. Dealgrip works via call forwarding, so your existing business number stays yours. Customers always call the number they know. You simply set forwarding from your carrier to your Dealgrip number.

You have options on how forwarding works: you can forward all calls immediately so Dealgrip always answers first, or you can use "conditional forwarding" — where your phone rings 1–2 times and Dealgrip picks up if you don't answer. Most businesses prefer the first option so no call ever rings unanswered. You can switch forwarding modes anytime from your carrier settings.

Standard carrier call forwarding — the same feature used by millions of businesses. You enable it once in your carrier settings. No hardware, no apps, no special equipment. If you can pause it, calls go to your phone again. If you re-enable it, Dealgrip answers again.

Most carriers support two types: (1) Unconditional forwarding — all calls go straight to Dealgrip. Best for businesses that want zero missed calls. (2) Busy/No-answer forwarding — calls only forward if you don't pick up within a set number of rings. Best if you sometimes want to answer personally. We provide forwarding instructions for every major US carrier in your dashboard setup wizard.

Results

Immediately. The first call you forward to Dealgrip is handled by the AI. Most businesses see captured leads from day one — particularly after-hours calls that previously went to voicemail and were never followed up.

The fastest ROI typically comes from after-hours capture. Studies show 62% of small business calls go unanswered — mostly evenings and weekends. These callers usually call the next competitor instead of leaving a voicemail. With Dealgrip, every one of those calls is answered and the lead is captured immediately. Businesses in service industries (HVAC, plumbing, legal, medical) often capture their first Dealgrip lead within hours of setup.

One captured lead that converts typically pays for the monthly subscription. For most service businesses, a single booked job from an after-hours call covers 3–6 months of Dealgrip cost.

An HVAC emergency call is worth $500–$2,000. A dental new patient is worth $1,500+ lifetime value. A law office consultation converts to a $3,000–$15,000 retainer. Against a $79–$299/month subscription, the math is simple. Beyond captured revenue, factor in time saved: an AI receptionist handles 100+ calls that would otherwise require a part-time employee or missed calls during busy periods.

Your dashboard shows every call with a full transcript, AI-generated summary, caller info, and action taken (lead captured, appointment booked, escalated, etc.). You also get a text alert after every call.

The dashboard shows call volume by day, top call reasons, lead conversion rate, and appointment booking rate. You can filter by date range and export your call logs as CSV. Text alerts include the caller's name, phone number, a one-sentence summary of the call, and the action taken — so you always know what happened, even when you're away from the dashboard.
